Andrew has more than 20 years experience in formal and informal corporate restructuring and recovery, undertaking assignments in North America, South America, Asia and Australia with total debt exposures of over US$23 billion. In the last few years, Andrew has led various corporate restructure and turnaround assignments, including Asia Pulp & Paper Company Limited in Indonesia and China (“APP”), Benpres Holdings in the Philippines, Dipasena Group in Indonesia, Telecom Argentina and Telecom Personal in Argentina.
The APP assignment was the largest restructuring assignment in Asia and involved providing strategic and financial advice to creditors with respect to the US$13.9 billion restructuring of APP’s Indonesian and Chinese operations. For this work, Ferrier Hodgson was awarded the Debt Restructuring Advisor of the Year Award in 2002 by IFR.
Andrew is based in the Perth office of Ferrier Hodgson, but undertakes assignments in a variety of jurisdictions.
