Anh has more than 14 years experience as a corporate recovery and business-turnaround professional working on assignments in Australia, Asia and the USA. She has experience in a wide spread of industries – from manufacturing, retail, meat processing and logistics to aged care, automotive, education and property.
Anh has a keen understanding of the expectations of clients in the financial sector after a 12-month secondment at the National Australia Bank where she worked in the Strategic Business Services area assisting in the strategic realisation or restructuring of problem loan files. Anh has also undertaken numerous reviews and assignments on behalf of Australia’s leading financial institutions.
Between 2005 and 2006, Anh spent seven months in Hong Kong, Zhongshan and the USA assisting our Hong Kong office in a court-appointed assignment involving the realisation of assets for a syndicate of banks. Anh was instrumental in the sale of the third-largest retail optical chain in the USA, ECCA Inc, to Highmark Inc, one of the top health insurers in the USA.
Anh’s career has also incorporated a nine-month secondment to what is now the Australian Securities & Investments Commission’s Insolvency Practitioners & Liquidators Unit, a specialist team working directly with company boards to raise awareness of the obligations and duties of company directors.
Some of Anh’s recent roles have included:
- Management and sale of Tarneit Skies Retirement Village on behalf of the Receivers
- The confidential review of a national retail chain for a leading Australian bank. The company has since returned to financial health
- The ongoing confidential review of a specialist engineering/manufacturing business
- Selling the assets of the Westmeats Group on behalf of the Receivers, resulting in the financier being paid out in full
