Craig Hunter joined Ferrier Hodgson in 1989, specialising initially in corporate recovery and now business turnaround and restructuring. Craig has undertaken a large number of investigating accountant and consulting assignments for banks and companies across a broad spectrum of industries and his experience and breadth of knowledge gained from assisting businesses of all sizes enables him to provide fresh views on current situations and recommend clear and innovative solutions.
Craig has developed his skills to assist clients in turnaround situations to enhancing performance and provide project management and viability assessments. In 2005, Craig spent 5 months in Spain and played a key role in the restructuring of Collins & Aikman’s Spanish automotive plant.
Craig has recently been involved in a number of retail assignments, most notably Australian Discount Retail (Trading) Pty Ltd (ADRT). Craig was part of a team that sold ADRT’s business assets containing approximately 390 stores and 10,000 employees with a turnover of approximately $900k.
