Darren commenced with Ferrier Hodgson in 1992 and became a partner in 2004. He has significant experience in all facets of corporate recovery and restructuring through to personal insolvencies. Darren was seconded to Rothschild (Sydney) in 2001 and during 2002/03 he spent 18 months working in the Hong Kong office of Ferrier Hodgson. On each of these ocassions he worked on complex restructuring, recovery and investigative assignments for clients.
With more than 16 years of restructuring and corporate recovery experience, Darren’s active involvement in a large range of industry assignments, including high-profile corporate insolvencies and reconstructions, enables him to offer clients a practical, commercial and pragmatic approach to situations involving financial distress.
Resources sector focus
Darren has significant experience in the resources sector, which reflects the time he has spent with clients in the mining and mining-services areas. He is one of the current joint Deed Administrators of Sons of Gwalia Limited and has other past and current assignments in the mining industry.
