David has more than 18 years experience in the corporate insolvency and turnaround sector. He became a Partner at Ferrier Hodgson in 2006. During his career with the firm he has spent time working in the United Kingdom through a secondment to an affiliated office, and also in a secondment to the National Australia Bank.
David specialises in corporate insolvency and investigations and his commercial hands-on approach provides clients with confidence for the best possible timely outcomes.
His roles, which have been across all facets of insolvency, have provided David with experience in a wide range of industries – from retailing, manufacturing, agribusiness and property to hospitality and leisure.
David has great knowledge of the South Australian business market and is part of a well-established network within the local businesss community.
Key assignments have included:
- Receiver to one of Australia’s largest DVD retailers, EzyDVD, with turnover of more than $100m
- Receiver to the iconic South Australian building services company Bianco Construction Supplies
- Restructuring of the National Wine Centre and BresaGen Limited
- Agent for the Mortgagee in Possession of Australia’s largest basketball stadium
- Numerous appointments over large regional businesses and co-operatives in rural Australia
