James has more than 10 years experience specialising in formal insolvency and restructuring in both Australia and the UK.
He has been involved in numerous restructuring assignments and trading insolvencies, where trading and business sale options have been perused to maximise value. He has a wide range of experience in various industries including retail, automotive, finance and manufacturing. Recent assignments of note include significant involvement in the receivership of Allco Finance Group and managing the post appointment trading and business sale of the Borders New Zealand and Whitcoulls businesses following appointment of Administrators in February 2011.
James joined the Ferrier Hodgson Sydney office in 2009, having previously worked for 7 years with Ferrier Hodgson’s UK affiliate Zolfo Cooper.
