Morgan has 19 years experience as a professional specialising in corporate recovery and insolvency in Australia and throughout South East Asia. He has been a partner with Ferrier Hodgson since 2006.
Morgan spent four years working in Thailand and South East Asia which provides him with a unique understanding of the region and cross-border insolvency law.
His experience includes formal appointments over companies ranging from mining to transport and logistics, agribusiness, manufacturing, healthcare and waste management. Morgan has also been engaged to manage turnaround and recovery assignments on businesses ranging from SMEs to multinational organisations as well as matters assisting regulatory authorities.
Recent assignments have included a confidential review of a transport and logistics business turning over $250m a year and the receivership of HMP, a significant mining-equipment leasing business. He has also been appointed over T. D. Preece & Co, a manufacturer of specialised equipment, logistics brokers Transnational Express, and IT reseller Crossover IT.
The diversity of this experience has provided Morgan with the ability to generate realistic and practical solutions to complex and challenging situations.
