Phil Quinlan has more than 8 years experience specialising in corporate recovery, restructuring and financial investigation in Australia and the UK.
He has experience in all types of formal corporate insolvency appointments as well as informal advisory and workout assignments including investigative accountant reviews and due diligence.
Phil has completed assignments in a wide range of industries from retail and hospitality, to manufacturing and automotive.
Phil joined Ferrier Hodgson’s Sydney office in 2007, having previously worked in London for Ferrier Hodgson’s UK affiliate Zolfo Cooper.
Areas of Specialisation
Phil’s primary focus is on the hospitality industry, having worked almost exclusively on hospitality related assignments over the last three years.
Phil has all aspects of experience ranging from the receivership of a large Sydney hotel group, the voluntary administration of a registered club, to the consulting to a major bank on its entire hotel portfolio exposure.
Over the last three years Phil has dealt with approximately 40 hotels in receivership / voluntary administration and been involved in the review of approximately 150 hotels.
