Samantha is a property specialist. She has been involved with property for over 15 years and joined Ferrier Hodgson in 2001. She has extensive knowledge of the Australian commercial and residential property sectors. Samantha’s negotiation skills, keen eye for detail and passion for property ensures dynamic solutions and outcomes. Samantha works in both the Corporate Recovery and Corporate Advisory areas of the practice.
Corporate Recovery
Samantha is experienced in developing and implementing practical solutions for distressed properties and has developed divestment solutions for a broad range of commercial, industrial and residential properties. She controlled the leasing of 32 properties during the Harris Scarfe receivership and more recently 170 leased properties during the Kleins administration.
Corporate Advisory
Samantha has project managed the divestment of a national portfolio of approximately 70 contaminated sites for a large multinational company. Similarly, she has managed a large portfolio of restrained residential and commercial properties for the Department of Justice which has also included planning relevant realisation strategies.
Samantha has also played an important role in the highly successful remediation, development and subdivision of the 200 hectare Pasminco Cockle Creek smelter site, the largest contaminated industrial site in Australia.
