Tim has a strong practical understanding of business which enables him to quickly assess the key business drivers and risk factors of a business to ensure maximisation of entity value. He has over 18 years of experience in the accounting profession specialising in insolvency and restructuring businesses in financial difficulties together with litigation support roles including acting as an expert witness.
Tim has conducted receivership, judicial management, liquidation, special accountant and investigation assignments in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Singapore. He has been responsible for numerous monitoring assignments of trading entities in a variety of business sectors for both large and small enterprises.
His more high-profile judicial management appointments include Econ Corporation Limited, Trans-United Corporation Limited and Mediastream Ltd.
Tim was appointed by the Court as Special Accountant to the Kea Holdings Ltd group of companies where the family shareholders were in disagreement. Tim was required by the Court to undertake a review of the financial position and performance of the many group companies and provide a report to the Court on his findings. He was also the sole signatory for all banking transactions of the group.
Tim has acted as an expert witness in various litigation support roles in Singapore and the United Kingdom.
