Most offices offer the opportunity to join as an undergraduate. That means you have enrolled to commence your degree, or completed part of your degree and have decided that you wish to enter the workforce. You may do this in one of three ways:
- As a full time undergraduate, completing the rest of your degree part time, or
- As a part-time employee, working a few days a week and completing your degree either full time or part time, or
- As a full time cadet enrolled to commence an Accounting degree on a part-time basis
Whichever way you choose to complete your degree, you will find that gaining practical experience gives you an invaluable head start on your peers.
While studying, you will be entitled to study and exam leave, which assists you in having the best opportunity to pass your exams.
Each office is flexible in the way they take on undergraduates. These positions are not always advertised, so it is best to make direct contact or apply to the relevant office.
Our Sydney and Melbourne offices recruit for the Cadetship Program in June/July each year for the following year intake in February. The program is designed for you to obtain valuable work experience while you complete your degree over a number of years.
To be eligible you must be a career minded Year 12 student with excellent results and planning to commence your Bachelor of Business/Commerce degree majoring in Accounting. The first two years of your cadetship will involve working full-time and studying part-time. After your first two years you may be offered the opportunity to complete the remainder of your degree full time, on a scholarship funded by the Firm and may also work during vacation periods.
Please refer to our Events and Key Dates section for closing date for applications.
