Not Quite Right Pty Ltd is a Victorian based discount supermarket chain established 20 years ago as a solution to clear excess stock, discontinued lines and cancelled supermarket orders.

The Group employed approximately 400 staff and had 25 stores all based in Victoria (mostly in rural and country areas).

John Lindholm and James Stewart were appointed Voluntary Administrators of the Group pursuant to Section 436A of the Corporations Act 2001 (“the Act”) on 25 May 2009.

At a meeting of creditors held on 30 September 2009, John Lindholm and James Stewart were subsequently appointed Liquidators of the Group pursuant to Section 499(2A) of the Act.

An investigation of the Group’s affairs will be conducted.  Any creditor who has any information which would assist our investigation is requested to write to us setting out full particulars.

As you may be aware, the NQR business was sold to NQR Pty Ltd, effective from 1 July 2009.  We are continuing to liaise with the Purchaser with regard to final transition issues and it is estimated that it will take between 6 – 12 months to wind up the Group.

The available financial information and Group circumstances indicate that a dividend payment to unsecured creditors is unlikely.  For this reason, we do not intend, at present, calling for Formal Proofs of Debt to be submitted by creditors.
