Live Clothing Pty Ltd

Live Clothing Pty Ltd (Live Clothing), one of Western Australia’s leading fashion retailers,
was placed into Voluntary Administration today.

Ferrier Hodgson partners Wayne Rushton, Martin Jones and James Stewart were appointed
Voluntary Administrators by the company’s board of directors.

Administrator Wayne Rushton said it was too early to identify the primary causes of the
company’s current financial position, however cited the difficult economic conditions in
Western Australia following the mining downturn as a contributing factor.

Mr Rushton said the business is ready to trade during the busy Christmas period, with all
stores showcasing the latest summer product, and it would be business as usual while the
Administrators consider the restructuring and realisation opportunities for Live Clothing.

“Live Clothing is an iconic West Australian independent fashion retailer, offering a wide range
of men’s and women’s lifestyle fashion, including their own brands, from 11 stores and an
on-line business”, Mr Rushton said. “We are immediately calling for expressions of interest
for a sale of the business as a going concern.”

Mr Rushton said that employees will continue to be paid normally by the Administrators.
Employee entitlements are also expected to be paid in full from the assets of the company.

Live Clothing was established in 1994 and grew its store network over the next 2 decades.
Live Clothing currently has 80 employees and annual sales of approximately $14 million.
