Robyn has over 30 years experience in corporate restructuring and insolvency
Robyn has extensive experience in all forms of corporate insolvency administrations, complex corporate investigations, investigating accountant roles, asset tracing, trade-on monitoring and business rationalisation/realisation.
Robyn has worked on significant matters in telecommunications (including the receivership of Australia’s first pay-TV operation), healthcare, childcare, property and construction, insurance/trusts, textiles, manufacturing, managed investment schemes (including agricultural plantations), horse breeding and racing syndicates.
Major recent projects
In 2008/09 Robyn controlled the trade-on and subsequent sale process of 39 childcare centres in New South Wales operated by CFK Childcare Centres Limited. She also managed the voluntary administration and subsequent liquidation of 48 companies in the Commander Communications Group and concluded her role in a long-term expert witness matter for a major technology company involved in complex litigation for claims relating to shadow directorships, unfair preferences and insolvent trading.
In 2010 Robyn was appointed by the Court and successfully sold a large privately owned shopping centre regarded as one of the best performing arcades in Sydney’s South West, comprising 37 tenancies over two levels.
In 2011 Robyn assisted in the voluntary administration of REDgroup Retail including the Borders and Angus and Robertson brands, undertaking the investigation into the collapse of the group.
In 2012/13 Robyn conducted the liquidation of Mulsanne Resources Pty Limited, a company associated with Nathan Tinkler. The liquidation resulted in a substantial settlement for creditors arising from claims made by the liquidators regarding breaches of directors duties and insolvent trading.
